The Beginning

Where It Started

Bhopal in the early 2010s had a problem. The city's event scene was growing fast — bigger artists, bigger crowds, bigger ambitions — but production quality hadn't kept up. Event managers were flying in gear from Mumbai, paying transit costs that ate into budgets, and getting systems that arrived untested for local conditions.

Ashish Mishra saw the gap. Not for another event company — Bhopal had those. For a production house. A company that owned professional-grade sound, lighting, and staging, maintained it properly, and could deploy it anywhere in Central India within 48 hours. Dhwani Entertainment was the answer.

The Growth

How We Got Here

The first few years were about proving that 'local' didn't mean 'lesser.' Every event was a chance to show that a Bhopal-based production house could deliver at Mumbai or Delhi standards. Word spread the way it does in this industry — one good show leads to three calls.

When Farhan Akhtar's team needed production in Central India, they called Dhwani. When GIFLIF Indiestaan needed multi-stage festival infrastructure, they called Dhwani. When Bansal Group needed their annual day to feel like a national broadcast — Dhwani. Each production built on the last. Today, the L-Acoustics K2 in our warehouse sits next to 120+ JBL cabinets, 200+ lighting fixtures, and 500 square metres of LED. We didn't buy inventory to look impressive. We bought it because shows kept getting bigger.

"Do it with passion, otherwise don't do it at all."

This isn't printed on a wall in our office. It's what happens at 3am when the rigger finds a truss bolt that doesn't feel right, and we replace the entire section instead of hoping it holds. It's what happens when the monitor engineer hears a 2dB feedback buildup that nobody else noticed, and kills it before the artist ever knows. In live production, the audience only sees the show. They never see the hundred decisions that kept it perfect.

Founder & Director

Ashish founded Dhwani Entertainment to fill a gap he'd seen first-hand — Bhopal and Central India deserved production-grade infrastructure that didn't have to be flown in from Mumbai. He built the company one show at a time, signing off every console, every truss, every rigger personally.

Today, from intimate concerts at Ravindra Bhawan to stadium-scale productions like Kailash Kher at TT Nagar Stadium, every Dhwani show still runs on his standard: technical excellence, on time, every time.

Beyond Ashish, Dhwani deploys 50+ trained technicians on roster — certified riggers, licensed electricians, sound engineers, lighting designers, and stage hands. When three events run simultaneously in different cities, every crew operates at the same standard.

Safety Is Not a Section on Our Website

It's the reason we sleep at night after a 50,000-person outdoor show.

Structural Engineering

Every stage build and rigging point is load-calculated by qualified structural engineers. Wind load, dead load, and dynamic load assessments for every outdoor deployment.

Electrical Safety

Three-phase power distribution with RCBO protection, isolated grounds, and certified power distro boards. Every cable run is rated and inspected before show.

Fire & Pyro Protocols

All special effects deployments follow fire safety clearance protocols. Trained pyro operators, safety perimeters, and fire suppression equipment on standby.

Public Liability Insurance

Comprehensive event insurance covering equipment, crew, and third-party liability. Documentation provided with every production contract.

Certified Crew

Trained riggers, licensed electricians, and certified pyro operators. Every crew member undergoes safety briefing before each deployment.

Redundant Systems

Backup consoles, redundant signal chains, UPS power backup, and emergency response protocols. If the primary fails, the show goes on.
